I have downloaded 2.6.8 from kernel.org. Its stable version. I have
downloaded a tarball not RPM. I compiled the kernel with modules
support , actually before this I have compiled the kernel 2.4.x
versions but it was like, compiling the it over 2.4.x version so it
never gave me a problem.
