Yes, the terminal support in mpg123 is rather basic. It does not consult any
caps database, just hopes that the simple controls it issued are universally
understood, which obviously works against your desire regarding the cursor.

We just released Icecast 2.3.3 which addresses this issue.
Also for the record. It's fairly easy to spot those injection attempts
by looking at the Icecast access log.

, you got me there! I really did not think about those support
macros only about our "real" assembly instructions in plain assembler
files. Thanks for investigating. I'll present you work to our assembly
man who wrote this code and see to it that the next mpg123 release
contain
assume that this is a bug in gcc that is worked around by adding -marm.
You might consider asking gcc folks about this.
