Package: vdpau-va-driver Version: 0.7.4-2 Severity: normal See bug 705558. The second part of the report (the lack of libvdpau_nouveau.so) is fixed in mesa by the fix for that bug. However, the first part (symlinking vdpau_drv_video.so to nouveau_drv_video.so) is still necessary in order to get VDPAU to work on supported nouveau-driven cards.
Adding that symlink manually fixes the problem (as one would expect), so all that seems necessary is to add the symlink in this package, that is, from: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/vdpau_drv_video.so to: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/nouveau_drv_video.so -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers trusty-updates APT policy: (500, 'trusty-updates'), (500, 'trusty-security'), (500, 'trusty'), (90, 'utopic-updates'), (90, 'utopic-security'), (90, 'utopic') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.13.0-32-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages vdpau-va-driver depends on: ii libc6 2.19-0ubuntu6.1 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 10.1.3-0ubuntu0.1 ii libvdpau1 0.7-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-1ubuntu2 ii multiarch-support 2.19-0ubuntu6.1 vdpau-va-driver recommends no packages. vdpau-va-driver suggests no packages. -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
