Apxs isn't under that directory, cant find it with a find, nor when doing a locate. Only one file comes up when using locate, and that's a man file.

Thanks Yannick. I've already tried the --with-apxs command switch but I don't have an apxs directory to point it to. :(

Im trying to upgrade from 5.0.2 to 5.0.5 on a red hat based distri. I have configure’d, make’d and make install’d and everything went ok, but when I checked the version of php in phpinfo() it still shows 5.0.2.   I have tried restarting apache and restarting the box, but it wont pick it u
