I'm thinking of buying this book, good enough or are there better ones
out there?
Thanks

Hmmm. Pretty cluttered, both of them. Maybe you
should train the warbler to pose...

I use Mark Galer's book for Elements and it's really good. He also has
several books for CS.

Hey Folks,
I currently use 1Gig and 2Gig SanDisk Ultra II memory cards in my K10D and
my wife's *istDs.
Do the newer 4Gig (and 8Gig) cards work in these cameras?
By the way, I've been field testing a new 80 Gig Jobo Giga One, and although
the interface is somewhat remedial, it gets the job done
A while back I got interested in the going price for a smc Pentax F
70-210mm f4-5.6. In the last few weeks quite a few have actually been
sold. The highest went for more than $350. The lowest was about $70.
The median seems to be about this:

You can't actually see how many stars are on the flag...

That's not semaphore ... she's an LSO bringing an FA-18 on board an
aircraft carrier. :-)
Thanks for the clarification, Doug. (I guess that explains that
pigeon that landed right after I took the shot.)

If you have updated the DS' firmware with the latest, it will support
4 and 8 Gbyte
A well deserved congratulations, Mark. Let us know when we can get our copy,
and the best way to get the author to sign it!
Damn, and we knew him when.

Bob,
That scar looks like the surgeon couldn't sew a straight line, or cut
one! Wow. You'll need a good physical therapist to push you in
recovery. Find a pretty one, it's harder to disappoint them.

Shouldn't you be keeping an eye on the Thames and checking out the
