...Now I managed to move the files to the computer via my Vosonic portable
harddrive.
And I managed to run a "Windows fault finder" facility, so I now have af
folder called FOUND.000 containing my 20 "images" .

You need some file recovery software I'm using PC inspector Smart
Recovery, available from HTTP://www.convar.de The software doesn't
directly support PEF files but TIFF works just as well.
There may be better software out there but this works just fine.
