Thanks P.J. I tried to rename them from ACDC but nothing changed by this. Anyway, the ImageRecall softwre is very nice and much faster. I discovered that in can actully recover any other old image file, deleted but not overwritten on you rhard drive :-) Perhaps I can find those I lost in may aon Bornholm!!:-) I'll give it a try, but it may take all night to scan a 40 GB dive! I don't know why explorer can't find the "Found.000" folder, except that the recovery program violated a filesystem "rule" when creating it, or more obviously the folder attribute is set to hidden. If you can use ACDC to copy the *.chk files to a hard drive you should be golden. Just rename them there and use your normal software to open them.
