The USB headphones can't be used in conjunction with stario mixer, what you
hear, etc, so if you want to use that, you'll be out of luck. I'm using a
pair of acoostic headphones with an attached mic, and they work just as
good, if not better, than my USB pair made by the

I don't see why, unless it keeps on compressing the current bitrate. BUt
that doesn't really make sense. I mean, it should stay the same quolity, but
just make sure you don't downgrade the current bitrate, or move it up,
otherwise you'll just get a bigger file size and the same quolity as when
I absolutely love rockbox. I have a 30 gb ipod video and, while rockbox
doesn't run as long as the orriginal firmware, it speaks song names to you,
and is really a good sounding system. However, newer ipods aren't supported;
you'll have to look for an ipod video, nano, etc.

Yeah, I love switch. i just finished converting 6000 midis with it and it
went perfectly on normal priority, as I was using the PC. THis here laptop
lags slightly when I convert at max priority; same when I use goldwave. But
they work and this laptops getting on in years, kind of.

I love doubletalk on the book port. I can't stand reading text files with
the stream; the voice just seems way too slow! I like it faster, which
doubletalk does a great job at. Also, I checked out my info on a 2 gb sd
card. 300 hours of available recording time (that's right, 300)! Actually

there is no screen, it would most likely be impossible to code. But, if you

I recommend winamp, for all filetypes. It plays a lot of them, and a
personal favorite format of mine is .ogg. You can get 64 kbps with no
problem, it sounds like nearly 96 kbps mp3 quality.

you were looking for, I could highly recommend scot flowmens website- but he

Well, just make sure you have a playlist such as m3u, or pls, as shoutcast
default is, I think. GS player can support both- and windows media player on
there isn't very good imho, anyway- and I'm guessing most people have GS
player. This also applies to the windows Mobile 6 platform as well.

Best way I can think of is buy one of those cables that have two RCA jacks
on one end and 1 at the other. Plug the end with 1 jack into a laptop, with
a thumb drive in it, and plug the other two into a stario or tv equipt with
2 stario jacks.

You can buy a stario that will do it. But honestly, I'd use an AV cable,
because buying a stario that could play thumb drives is a waste of money-
your not getting very much money back- because the thumb drive costs a

I tried once on an older computer. I had to manually select the .vob file in
the dvd, and when it played, all it was horrible horrible statick. That
could be just me, though.

Sometimes you get that. When I use my ipod with noise canceling headphones,
I get this really wierd buzzing sound. Not sure why.
