Actually it isn't 100mw. It used to be until about 20 years ago. It is
now 250 microvolts at 3 meters, about 10 feet, which translates to about a
distnace of 200 feet.

npr also squashed all lp fm windows to so example if I wanted to start my
own lp radio station I can't and never will be able to.
