Hi all
Does anyone know of alternatives to VLC for the Mac? At the moment, if I open a
folder containing thousands of files it gets busy for a long time. Using 2.2.1.
I'm pretty sure an earlier version of VLC didn't do that.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi!
I guess that discussing synthesizers is off topic for this list.
So i ask whats the subscription for the midimag list?
Thanks.

No problems here, I use the Open folder command or browse to the folder
using VLC itself.

Did dvd audio extractor support blu-ray's in 2008? For that matter does it
now? You know you're talking about two totally different disk structures?

Looking at your other messages, it will allow you to use dvd audio extractor

Hi all
I am now sorted for VLC, downloaded and installed version 2.1.5 for Mac OS X.
So must be a bug, either with VLC and or VoiceOver, with 2.2.x releases of the
player.
Thanks for all your help, very much appreciated.
Yes, I do recall an issue similar to that which you described but that
was quite some time ago, turn on the auto update feature so that you're
notified of updates when VLC is launched.
I guess you could describe me as a Power VLC user, I use it for all
sorts of tasks, playing from my Media Ser

VLC is incredibly responsive and fast and very rarely crashes, if it
does then there's usually a very good reason.

For IOS vlc is not very good, it does play lots of formats, but there is
no jump to time and when you press on the video player to show controls,
it goes back after a few seconds, so its a pain in the neck. Also,

Just replying to this email again, had another read of it.
If a jump to time function is important then why not suggest it to the
developer, do you really suggest that just because a player doesn't have
a jump to time feature that its no good?

I'm going to do it. What settings would you all recommend? I mean, I get the
feeling that it's not just backup the DVD or BD and wam that's all fokes.
But that's how they put it. They didn't say anything about formats or
nothing.
