It's just over the air, as in, using the digital signal from an antenna as
opposed to having cable or satellite.

Yes, DirecTV does carry the audio description. I watched a described
version of the "Wizard of Oz" during the holidays. The Turner channels seem

Back when I used mine, I used it with a JBL On Tour speaker than ran on
tripple a's. I don't think they make that thing any more, but there are
probably others like it. It also came with a wall plug you could optionally
use if you didn't want to deal with recharging tripple A's.

Hey list,
Simple question, has anyone ever found pro tools to be accessible in the
slightest? I'm looking at an m-box soundcard from avid, but it comes
with pro tools, which is kind of a waste of my money if it doesn't work

Ah, I bet I know the box you're talking about, the Fastrak mixer right?
I was able to get Protools to work here though I wasn't particularly worried
about that software to be hones as I prefer Reaper, found out about Reaper
after I'd purchased the package so not complaining in the slightest.

and is accessible, you can even do multi track recording with the
software if you so desire.
