Back when I used mine, I used it with a JBL On Tour speaker than ran on
tripple a's. I don't think they make that thing any more, but there are
probably others like it. It also came with a wall plug you could
optionally use if you didn't want to deal with recharging tripple A's.

Just about any computer speakers would do surely!
Many manufacturers offer small speaker units now.
