Sound Forge 10 is multi-channel, and you can edit 5.1 surround with it.
It's not multi-track though.
Also, I've just used it for a big job and it got all stressed and suddenly
mono-ised every one of the 6 channels in my edits, over and over again.
Created a shed load of work. I'm pretty disillusio

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to record a voice chat on Ventrilo available from
www.ventrilo.com using Ventrilo to record the conversation? I've heard
that this can be done but I'm not sure how to do it. Any help would be
appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately I have to say that I can see exactly where you're coming

of Sony Software by the looks of things.

Yes. Audacity can record in surround sound. I've never tried it, but here's a
link to a website that talks about it.

Glancing through the specs for Sony Audio Studio regions are certainly

can anyone pleas explain how I can slow down the speed of an audio file in
Sound Forge 7? I want only the speed to be slower, not the pitch altered.

There are two versions of Audacity you can download on that page. There is
1.2.6, which is the stable version and there is a 1.3.9 beata version, which
isn't stable and is available for testing. I think the beata version is more
accessible with JAWS. I used to use the stable release, but then st

Ah yes, that's all there alright but there is little manipulation of them,
that's my point so I'm asking what is the point of the regions at all when you
