Randy! If the sound effects are on the same track then the only way I
know of to separate them is to import the content into Sound Forge or some
other audio editor and edit them apart.

Google 'wave pad' and look for nch swift sound. This is a very, very easy
thing to use; and best of all its free, unlike goldwave. It has the
capibility to split, amplify and a lot of other things. Try it and let me
know what you think.

Hi, all! Has anyone found a blind-friendly website to use for sending
friends large audio messages? Somewhere, way back when, I think I remember
seeing some sort of website like you send it.com or something like that.
I'd love to send audio messages to friends whose mailboxes can't hold many

It's a sound editor geared primarily to the recording of the spoken word.

Hi Joe,
Stick with 16 bit for the best compatibility. You don't get enough of a
quality increase with 24 bit to risk having problems with your sound card's
ability to play the resulting file.

Hi!
I wish I knew of a good, one-stop resource for finding out all about how
multimedia players/recorders and files, libraries, skins, playlists and
anything else work. I'm not very familiar with these things. Some time ago
I downloaded a file with the extension "ASX". It was indicated that
I would use Wav 16 bit. That is standard if you change it to the Pc
for some reason.
