Ok, I've established that the advanced audio controls for output just aren't
there on the computers in this house. This means that while we can change
volume in the windows controls we don't have access to "tone". Any thoughts
as to why some pc's allow access to these controls and others not?

Hi Gang:
I recently tested a USB Audigy soundcard on Windows XP using JFW and found that I was
getting the same clicking affect that was prevelent with the SoundBlaster live card.
Is this a known issue?
Can someone recommend a good soundcard to use for jaws and voice over IP applications?

model sound card for the second one. As for screen readers I'd make the
current sound card as the default and that way Window-eyes will work

Hi. I have a multi channel sound card which has problems with line in but works fine
otherwise. I'm purchasing a second multi channel sound card as much of what I do
involves line in recording. I'm considering keeping the old sound card on board as
well, assigning it to Jaws and Window Eyes. Any
