Chris is correct. Cake Talking is supposed to work great with Sonar.
I am a WE user and have had quite a bit of experience with the program.
I don't know the price of JAWS or Cake Talking, but you can get Sonar

as the subject line says really, how do I turn the tick tick ticking of the
metronome off?
I'm assuming that it doesn't actually get onto the recording of the
individual tracks?

four. There are Sonar Studio and Sonar Producer. Each of those versions
