Hi Collin,
my guess is that the problem is that the option for sound activated recording
is set to be on.
This can be switched off either on the transport menu, where there's a sound
activated recording option, or in the recording category of the preferences,
where there's Sound activated record
Well, that is quite a bit more than I'd want to look at.

I suspect there are a good many, I know I have around 25,000 cassettes to
digitize, plays, talks, documentaries, personal, lectures and the like.
I would guess as Janene is a fan of The archers and as it has been going now
for 62 years, she, like me, has a large archive of The archers.
Hopefully there aren't many
casettes to copy and convert.
