Hello, It is not difficult to explain how to make mp 3 files when the person knows the software. Think of all that person must know: how to edit pauses, set levels, tell Goldwave to make the file or files as mp 3. Honestly, folks, it would be easier for me to make the files myself than to explain the process to someone who has no basic understanding of the process.
Colin, I think this is the best course. I have quite a few recording projects right now or I'd see if I could help. If you can't help and if the person can wait for an undetermined period, I'd do it. Hopefully there aren't many casettes to copy and convert.
