Did you play a CD before this and just alt F4 out of it? If so, next time
you play a CD, don't close WMP, but rather play an audio file be it an MP3
or what ever, and then you can close it and it will be fine. I've personally
had enough of WMP 12 doing this. WMP 13 had better behave it self or else
ure on the menu
titles. Maybe other players won't complain about the copy protection.

This is very strange. I've ripped things in WAV, and it works just fine.
It's probably because of how it didn't complete the rip. I've seen this
happen with DVD Audio Ex
Tractor when you extract a DVD that's a bit damaged and it does kind of

Sure cannot find any file types pages in either WMP or Folder Options in the
control panel in Vista.
Sure was handy in XP. All I want to know if WMP will play sound files on
YouTube. I cannot get that Web page to play sound at all.
