Hi. There could be a number of reasons why this isn't working for your friend. 1. It might be the disc they are trying to rip can't be found on the data base and in this case they should rip with another programme. If this happens with every disc then the other reason could be they haven't configured WMP to do this. To do this launch WMP and once launched press alt/T and then go to options and hit enter. Next control tab until you get to the rip tab then tab through and fill in the relevant options. Walter.
