No it wasn't in fact it didn't start at all. Turned out that some
registry keys didn't have reading permissions. After fixing that problem
everything runs just fine here.

I had thoughts along the same lines, but wouldn't the firewall pop up a
message to let me know the program was blocked? Well nothing of that
sort pops up. Btw i have the builtin Windows firewall turned on.

I am not using that program but, I have an idea in mind that it is maybe
because of your firewall. I thought that because when you block an
application, this program refuses to start as described. It is just an idea.
