Tell me what firewall are you using except the built-in one. Then, what ever it is, I would suggest that do look for a section there about your blocked applications that I'm sure every firewall has. Then, create a new rule for that specific application that you want to be modified. I'm asking you the name cause if it is a norton one, I can help you step by step; as well as McAfee.
