well got a cleaner kit for my dvd / cd rom drive.
as some cd -r disks would burn using express burn, at max rate, then tried
it at 24 x, and one time at 8 x.

What do you know, even with that one, I'm experiencing the same problem
that I did before.
So I guess it's either Express Burn or Winamp.

uncompressed wave files.
They are also 96000 KHZ 32 bit-stereo which is the format that I recorded

First of all it's essential that the cd is closed at the end of the burning
session. This has to be done with audio CDs. Many older cd players cannot
play cd-rw.
The other thing about burning speed is more a rumer then some scientific

When you do a music disc, it converts to wav files when doing the tracks to
cd, so it's best you set your burner's speed down to 16 x, or you can get
away with 24 x, but you don't wanna max your speed, otherwise it doesn't do
it properly.
