sorry i'm so late in replying to your message but i haven't been around
much this week.
unfortunately i gave nebula a call today and they told me that although
their audio description works in several countries around the world it
doesn't work with the broadcasts in the United States

yes there are many different versions available.
there are internal pci models plus USB models that are available like a
memory stick or as a box with a USB lead coming off of it.
but probably the best ones on the market are the nebula models.
