Sound Forge comes with the same MP3 options and up to 320 KBPS. Jim
did you try to save with the "Custom" button? Click Save and then Custom.

Is it possible, while in the custom settings in the "save as" dialogue, that
one can indepentantly set the bit rate from the sample rate? I was trying
to save a file with the bit rate of 64 and the sample rate of 2250.
