not that i can think of, but should you want to record from the pc other then
your mike, you'll have to run what's called a line in cable in to a line in
jack.

hi their, I happen to own a ds thirty and one of the things that I find is a
drawback is the limiter on it, you can't turn it off, but on the other hand
the pro for it is it makes great recordings, sounds good and you can go
through the menus with no problems at all.

In the latest Winamp there are plug-ins that allow it to handle
PlaysForSure and ActiveSync. If either of those is how you connect, you
can use the Winamp Library. I've never done it but I know the option is
there. It really depends how your phone connects.

personally use Gold Wave, because it can use
the Lancer OGG encoders. If you're converting from MP3, CDex is a nice
program. Much faster, but encoding to AAC and such formats is somewhat
trying.

Hi guys,
AudioStocker used to be a compression plug-in for Winamp to make
Internet streams sound better. The only place you can find it now is on
ACBradio.org's becoming a DJ section. It is still around, but it was
integrated into a plugin that does way more stuff and is more advanced.

Hi,
I have gold wave, however for the length of recording I needed to make,
I feared I'd run out of space since the makers of my computer
partitioned my drive in half and I have quite a bit of it taken up already.
