Obviously this is very distracting but I haven't figured out a way to

I'd personally recommend talks, but both screen-readers are very good. I do

I am having trouble trying to get the microphone to work on Vista. I have a
Sony Vaio Vgcra820G which has two places to hook up the mike. I have it in
the headphone/mike port now but when I use for instance, Goldwave to try to
record I just get hiss no volume. Can some one guide

this step now that I see it Jim is okay the
script you need to run is under the Tools subdirectory that's what the
/tools is and the /configure is actually the command or script you are
running. The period in this case means a hidden file or folder.

So you did the mkdir build directory and then the change directory cd build
right with no problems?
