Hi folks, My name is Scott Treeman, and I've been subscribed to this list for about two years. It has been great to get more information than I know what to do with, and learn a lot, and find just how much I don't know about production etc.! I have a question that I've never had answered, and wonder if you can help. My setup is like this: One Dell desktop, One external hard drive for storage of music only, One Cassio keyboard, used for audio tracks, and a Yamaha Clavanova cvp/94 which I use for a controller. I have also, a dinosaur of a keyboard, which was my first keyboard on which I had a sequencing program, this being the Korg o1/w pro x, and have been given some tips as to its use in my setup by the folks at Dancing Dots. My problem is as follows, It is strictly visual in nature, in that it has a curser, which one has to line up with the track on which one is working, and then value buttons to change the sounds in it. This isn't really my problem, however. My problem is that I am unable to turn "local," off on the board, and thus it's unusable to me in my setup. I am hoping to be able to bend notes and control the pitch modulation of sounds controlled by my Clavanova, or Cassio if possible. Any suggestions in this matter would be greatly appreciated. If possible, could you send "step-by-step," instructions as to how to get this done. When I contacted Dancing Dots on this matter, the founder said that I could incorperate the board into my system. If this is so, and I can use it to do this, it would be great. Any help would be appreciated, Scott C. Treeman. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
