I never recorded Skype calls on windows, but I want to through out a
possibility that Total Recorder might do the trick.
I really don't know for sure, but I have used total recorder for recording
streaming youtube music before.
TR isn't the easiest thing to configure correctly, but it
n the "other" category
supported by Audible. Find the combo box on that page which lists
venders.

I would recommend Total Recorder. You'll have to set things up to
record from the line in, and run tests to make sure the recording
levels are loud enough.
You'll need some way to monitor the recording so you're not recording
dead air after the tape is done.

After sending the huge mp3 file, delete the message in your Outlook Express
"sent items" folder. that will delete a copy of the file witch got sent off
to your friend, and will free up some space.
