it was 100 watts, and I moved and didn't have the room. I downsized from a
big house now to a smaller one and don't have the room for bulky equipment.

High Garry,
Those were the mixers that had built in power amps in them.
There were some mixers that were only preamps, no power amps on board at
all!
But you had to have a really good power amp like the Bogen DS-265.
Or else, the RCA Victor DB-2130.
I have both of those amps.
I also have an RCA

Hi Dane. I did try the VO+m command from within the program and it didn't work
for me. This is with the latest update to Radioshift running on a Machine which
is running the latest Snow Leopard.
Any thoughts?

I'm sure that FS would be glad to get some 64-bit drivers for hardware

I was going to tell you the same thing, portable yesterday and today are two
different things. I used to have some Bogan and Duquesne mixers that were the size
of portable televisions, and they were mono. they were 90 watts. I don't think the
young lady wants to tote anything like that.

Ah yep, I was going to answer this, I did look at this the other evening,
there's been an update made available so just use the vo-m command to bring up
the menu system.

Hi there. This is a question for any Mac users out there who are also using

radio and much more, on a Mac. You can also browse and search the extensive
database which comes with the program.

High Dan,
You are looking at two different things with improving the microphone pick
up.
The mike itself, has to be very sensitive.
The other thing is, resetting the gain.
If the gain is to low, the mike isn't going to pick up things that well.
This is one of the things that I dislike about my F
Hi Doic, I totally agree. There is nothing like the tube sounds and the
older equipment. I have delt with sound equipment since the 60's and the
new mixers and amps don't cut it. However, I am empressed on improvement of
mic pickup with the newer models.

The simulators may simulate the warmth of the vacuum tube, but it cannot
reproduce the music the same way a vacuum tube can.
I had to prove that to a guy by the name of Bob Carver.
In 1998, he let me audition his Sun Fire Signature Series power amplifier.

When asking about mixers you might say what you

In the 1950's and 60's, some of them had to be portable.
Sometimes, a PA system had to be sat up to address a small gathering of

Like for instants, in schools sometimes in the class rooms.
And also, some radio stations had to use them for remote broad

It is accessible as it always has been.
It is usable under WIndows 7 but, be warned, it will make itself the default
player for everything sound and video. It kept doing that and I got so
annoyed with it that I uninstalled it and went back to Windows Media Player.

There is a podcast at dr-carter.com demonstrating the Plextalk Pocket and

The firmware differences between the two are not merely cosmetic. Both

Hello, I was wondering, how accessible is the latest version of Power DVD? I
remember that I used to use a version of Power DVD that we bought several
years ago and that was accessible. However, I'm using Windows 7 and need to

I agree with you. usually solid state mixers sound cold compared to the tube
predecessors. if you had a vacuum tube mixer it wouldn't be portable anyway.
