It occurs to me another problem might be that my version of Quicktime, the
free version, is not able to process or play movie files. Has anyone
encountered profound differences between the free version and the
"professional" version of Quicktime in regard to file formats?

I should add that the C. Crane unit sounds decent and isn't expensive. The
problem is getting it to go more than 50 to 100 feet. If you don't care

I'd say if you're from the U S probably one of the Ramsey units would be

need to find one on Ebay because the assembled units can't be sold legally

scripts for the product key and some other minor issues I've

I did volunteer to write some jaws scripts for the Freecorder toolbar.
However, despite installing it onto two machines, choosing Internet Explorer
as the browser, I cannot see the toolbar with the jaws cursor at all. I
have of course maximised the application window. I am sure it must be
