Hi Sarah
I use both but perhaps see wrongly that they only alter volume after
recording have taken place. In a sense I'm looking to alter the volumes as I
go along providing a good mix which can be recorded at the same time.
If I can do this in 'live' mode can you please give me more details. I t

And 5.35 played a Replay AV .asf file right out of the box.
I cannot address the .wma question as I don't have any .wma files handy.
But I have no reason to expect that it wouldn't.

Thanks Chris. You've hit the nail on the head. The only other slight

Any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks! Well, I now have an incentive to grab 5.35.
I gather that, in 5.35, wma and asf are included file types.

Mike,
Guess what, it works. This is with v5.35. Not sure which version it
started working with as I haven't tried it for quite some time, but I
decided to give it another try and opened the file directly from Winamp and
it played just fine.

Hi mike.
I fixed this on a previous machine with winamp 5.32 and it had something to
do with registering a .dll.
I'm going to see if I can recreate the problem and fix it again.

Thanks! Replay AV is why I raised the question.
I was hoping to save the time to convert to mp3 for some files.
Winamp, rather than WMP and RealPlayer, has the ability to do faster
jumping in files.
Incidentally, my rp10 will play replay av .asf files.

For what it's worth, I can not play these files with Winamp either. Many of
the recordings made with Replay AV are in this format, and Winamp will not
play them. I have to play them in Windows Media Player. Not sure why this
is as Winamp shows this file type as being supported so go figure.

High Mike,
I am wondering the same thing about WMA audio files in Wenamp.
It will play many others, but I found that it won't play these two file
types.
I went to the Wenamp websight, but it was of no help at all.
Just in kace you are wondering, I am using v5.25.
