Hi. Total Recorder can do a very nice job editing lots of different
kinds of formats including wma, mp3, wav, ogg, pcm, and others. It's
very affordable and has been my editor of choice for around 3 years
now. There are hotkeys and menus for everything you want to do, so
almost anyone can ge
Hi. Are any of you using MTV's new Urge music service? I've just
downloaded the software along with the beta of Media Player 11 for
XP. I'd appreciate hearing about any of your experiences with either
of these pieces of software or the Urge service itself. Thanks.

Hi Brandon,
I have text to audio text aloud and yeosoft text to mp3 speaker.
I until recently would have recommended Yeosoft's text to mp3 program as it
turns text files straight to mp3 it does not make a wov then convert it.
But I have made allot of audio books from text files and I have found
Hi list,
I'm sure this has been discussed majorly on the list, but what are your
recomendations for programs that will take various types of files, like htm,

want, replies can be sent off list.

I can only share my experience as a former Total Recorder devotee. I
largely use a laptop these days, and the total Recorder driver did
once interfere with my primary sound driver, so that didn't endear me
to the program. If Replay A/V hadn't come along, I would still be
using total Recorder.
OK, so now I have a new problem in setting Replay AV up.,.
I have been using Total Recorder, so I went into the Windows Sound
settings and changed the default from Play and reord through Total
Recorder, to my SB Live sound card.
Note I have an on-board sound set up for Jaws so it does not play
I'm assuming that editor converts the WMA file to WAV and then allows you to
edit and saves back to WMA? If that's the case then you could use goldwave
to do the same.
