this. It's like saying could you tell me of a filter that converts wine to
grapejuice.

Hi Kelley. I've had tapes that have been twisted, and a couple that have
gone off the reels, making them unplayable. There are definite advantages
to copying them to your computer with Soundforge, or your sound editor of
choice, then maybe putting them onto CD's. Cassette tape is frustrating!
I'm just now getting around to this mammoth project. I got really serious
when I received a series of cassettes from my library on international
library loan. When I put cassette #3 into the machine, the tape came off
the tape reel and the cassette was unusable. Fortunately, they had made a

You may need to change the bit rate etc. When you go into soundforge, close
any files which are still open, then open a new file by pressing control n.
Tab around the boxes and look at what settings you've got for bit rate. See if
it's set to 8 or 16. 16 will give a better quality. Also loo

Hi Juan. I think you might need a program like Soundforge or Goldwave.
These are sound editing programs that are useful for this. Of course, I
think you can use CDex for this. This grabs audio from tapes or CD's, and
puts it on the harddrive for you. I hope this helps.

TO MAKE A VCD OR SVCD THEY WOULD NEED TO BE CONVERTED TO A BIN FILE.
OTHERWISE IN THE CASE OF AVI AND MPEG FILES I PUT MINE ON A DATA DISC AND
PLAY THEM IN WINAMP.
