I'm new to burning discs, so please forgive my ignorance. I recently
bought a spindle of 50 blank Sony CD-R discs of 700 MB each. So far I
have burnt about 153 MB worth of MP3 files onto my first disc. My
calculator says I should have about 547 MB of free space left on the
disc. Howev

The player, provided you load the alternative firmware. Everyone
note, that only certain Archos players speak. Rick posted a message
about this some weeks ago, giving the appropriate rockbox link, but a
google search finds rockbox and you can go from there, the site's fine
re accessibility.

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, mp3 CDs will burn in large volume as
data; however, then they will not play on CD players. At least that is my
understanding of why mp3s are recorded as music files.
