Hi,
In CT cloud, We encounter the need to migrate a port from one
network to another and the port's MAC must be unchanged. After
migrating, the port's attributes such as ip, gateway, route and so on
should be used the new network.
In native openstack, there is no way to do this direct, we mus
Hi All,
I am deploying OpenStack Havana on CentOS 6.4. I am unable to get
packages to install neutron components on CentOS 6.4.
Has anyone successfully configured OpenStack Havana on CentOS 6.4?
Any help would be really appreciated.

Hello everybody,
I wanted to ask, how it's neutron-pythonclient versioning/branching handled?.
Are there any plans to keep separate branches/tags for compatibility with
different openstack versions?.
What's the exact policy on this?, I'd like to know what's the best

My apologies, it looks like I scanned your original error message too quickly.
“Found no network for bridge br-int” means you need to run `xe network-create

from the result of xe network-create, you need to invoke `ovs-v

Hi
This seems to be a weird bug..
The root cause is that one of the compute nodes has a misconfigured ceph
client secret. So what happened is that when a VM is scheduled to that
node, it would error out because the secret uuid can't be found.
Nova-scheduler then tries to reschedule the VM to another

Specifying something as a bug needs to determine things like 'what component
should this be addressed in' and describing the desired behaviour. Many of the
comments from the survey describe the pain points, rather than the solutions.

Tim,
+1 to your proposal to let each program have an operator focused session to get
a sense of operability issues. OpenStack is at a point where operability can
make it or break it, and such sessions can influence better tradeoffs between
features and operability.

Another thing that u might consider.
The rally project[1] has been using a tool called tomograph[2] and making
tomograph better and it has been collecting some similar use-cases and
test-cases around various openstack performance related work (also it has

I like the idea of starting each design summit session track with a summary
of top pain points by users/operators and a discussion of the relative
priorities.
Perhaps there is some "pre work" for users (including taking the survey) so
that the topics can be grouped for efficient discussion.

BTW, it does not solve the problem of which component to put something in but
it would allow us to align the input with the project structure. It would not
catch all cases (such as VM on shared storage restart in the event of failure
which is apparently not in the Nova scope) but it would allow
moving the discussion to the General list. The original message

Hi,all
The storage array used by cinder in my experiment is produced by Huawei. The
vendor releases its own multipath named Ultrapath with the SAN.
Could I use the Ultrapath instead of dm-multipath in openstack?

I don't have any personal experience with ownCloud, but I've heard of others
using it. I will absolutely vouch for Swift as a good solution for file
sharing, especially as the aggregate size of your content grows.

Yes, swift is supported as a file store backend of OwnCloud, including
with Keystone support.

I think that's possible.
But you'd better want a client with windows UI for the objects
management from the office.
