Hi All,
I was wondering if OpenSSL support attribute certificates? I could not find
such information on the web, just a few discussions and some library for
generating the attribute certificates, but wanted to know if OpenSSL can handle
them.
Thank you,
Hello,
We have been working in AC also, the API published in the website is older.
Please, have a look to the latest one:
http://www.it.uc3m.es/dds/swRelease/pmi/ACv2.zip
This new software, also in beta stage, provides also a tool for issuing
attribute certificates in a very simple way, there

Hello,
Some source code to generate attribute certificates using OpenSSL can be
found at:
http://www.it.uc3m.es/dds/swRelease/pmi/pmi.xml
It has been tested with some versions of OpenSSL and works with all of them
including the latest release 0.9.8d.
I hope you will find it useful

Primary programming language is Ada. Primary operating system is Linux.
I known, OpenSSL writted on C, I am ready to use C for implement low
level functionality and when provide binding for Ada language. (T

Hello in the pervasive laboratory of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
we are actually developping a C++ set of classes that performs
opening decodign, coding, verifying and issuing of attribute
certificates. May it could be helpfull?. We are supporting actually

No, I have not sample certificate.
I need an API for BER and DER encoding/decoding of attribute
certificates, verify attribute certificates, retrieve attributes,
defined by RFC-3281 which will be used by acce

Hello,
I am work on implementation of Security Service for PolyORB project
(http://libre.adacore.com/polyorb), and I need to work with X509
Attribute Certificates. As I see OpenSSL don't provide it support for now.
Are you planning to provide X509AC support in the future?
Does exist
thanks for the information

gkgodava> what does NID stands for?
NID is an internal number that OpenSSL makes use of, and is basically
an i
type."
is OID and NID are assigned by a standards community?
is there a OID or NID that i can use for attribute certificates?
thanks

Hi,
I am shure, I saw an email some months ago, where someone
(probabely Dr. Henson) said, that there was some support for rfc3281
compliant attribute certificates.
Unfortunately I can't find it! Could someone please help?
Thanks,
Hello.
Actually no is possible with OpenSSL to generate Attribute Certificates.
Only is possible to generate it with IAIK to JAVA.
Greetings.

OpenSSL doesn't currently support attribute certificates at all. The
ASN1 parsing routines are probably choking when you try to call
d2i_X509() because that will only handle certi
