with SSL support!
If I configure with:
--with-openssl=/usr/bin/openssl
I get the Error:

Hmmm... This is too bad. I had a similar problem with Ms. Carasik's
book, "Unix Secure Shell". It was riddled with misstatements,
misunderstandings, and omissions. I found that I could not trust it
and finally removed it from my reference shelf. She is quite
pleasant in person, so I've alw

There is a way to create certificates with openssl and convert them to
IIS4.0 format. We've done that here for a number of years. I believe that
you can then copy them from an IIS4 server to an IIS5 server, though I
haven't done it myself. I don't know of anyone who has got the certificates

thanks for tellin but I could find only 3 such codes
does someone has any more sample codes and also more Important

what I want is
1. To see encrypted web traffic
2. Decrypt this traffic using SSLDump or any other SSL sniffer.

I hav an stunnel application where the certificates are generated by a
Microsoft Certificate server. Verification of the client and server
certificates fail :
Versions 0.9.6c 0.9.6d and 0.9.7-beta2 all give the same error.
/usr/local/ssl/bin/openssl verify -verbose -CAfile root.pem client.pem

Hi!
Here's my micro howto -- notes I took while setting stuff up on my
private machine. May be of some help. Most probably some of the
'personal comments' are not 100% accurate, but who's looking a
gift horse into the mouth? (As I am using Linux, I probably am though, heh)
Best regards,

Dear Mr. Casad,
UnixReview published Anne Carasik' article on openssl recently.
It should be great for LEGO fan or someone studying history of alcohol.
However, this article (at least) give wrong advise and show
lack of writer competence. To illustrate it:
