I installed the apache_1.3.20 with
mod_ssl-2.8.4-1.3.20 and openssl-engine-0.9.6b yesterday.
After I installed all of them and configured my httpd.conf, I try to
run configtest on my apache,
the result shown as below.
# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl configtest[Thu Oct 11 10:23:49 2001]

See http://www.kermit-project.org/ftpd.html for a list of FTP Servers
that support SSL/TLS.

I haven't heard of OpenSSL being integrated into the kernel
Hello,
I am new to the list and OpenSSL. As the company programmer I have been
assigned to setup FTP over SSL and am looking for pointers. From what I
have been able to read online I don't think it will be that difficult. The
script I will need to modify to go over SSL is as follows:

SSL_set_fd() connects the SSL
Does anyone out there have a sample config for openSSL on VxWorks ?

Yes it will. I've got it running perfectly now.
You need to use "./Configure rhapsody-ppc-cc

Hi, All,
Initially I thought the certificate is based on domain name, but, I tested,
if I use an IP address to generate a self-signed certificate, it is still
recognized by the browser.
So, am I right that without a domain name, I can still use openssl to create
certificate?
Thanks,

Perhaps the higher-level BIO api is what you are looking for. Look at the
examples at (http://www.openssl.org/docs/crypto/BIO_s_accept.html#)
and(http://www.openssl.org/docs/crypto/BIO_s_connect.html#) and see if it is
what you want.

Hello,
Has anyone compiled OpenSSL-0.9.6b for VxWorks5.4 ?
I've been trying to do so using WinNT as the host platform
and VxWorks5.4 running on the target PowerPC platform.
Since the code needs to be cross-compiled on NT for a VxWorks embedded
system, do I need to configure openssl for NT first
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to port OpenSSL or portions
