1) openmeetingsModuleKey should be used to separate users/files of multiple
CMS connected to one openmeetings (multiple moodles in your case)
2) sure you can manage the recordings it is located at
OM_HOME/webapps/openmeetings/streams/hibernate/
3) The id in the streams folder
Hello,
I've some questions about openmeetings in connection with different
moodle-installations. I have installations of openmeetings (1.8, 1.9 and
2.0) for different moodle-sites. Particularly I am interested in how to
manage conference-recordings of openmeetings. The goal is to hav
you should run .jnlp file manually or associate it with javaws.

Hi all,
I setup OM and all is running well but I can't record the session. When I click
the Recording button, the browser opens a new blank window and download a .jnlp
file.
If I open manually the address http://:5080/openmeetings/screensharing
I get the directory listing.

Hello!
Now I have not had any problems making recordings, since I stopped sharing the
screen within recording. Anyway, I guess this should be reported as a bug in
the tracker?
I do have some other questions on the topic of recording too, not bugs.
1. I would like to have better sound quality
nd I am a bit concerned over how much disk space this would require.

and I would not mind reducing
the quality of the recordings a bit. (It is intended that the students
participate live, not that they study archived recordings.) Is it somehow
possible to tell ffmpeg to make a smaller-resolution video with higher
compression to save space?
Friendly greetings,

Hi Daniel,
I had no answer on this question so far. But since recording from the
screen-sharing application works, I haven't searched further.
Sorry,

the ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception should be fixed, please use the latest
revision or the next upcoming nightly build to rerun your tests.
Thanks!

Hi,
I've got 2 questions about the recording feature.
The first one is relative to the "Recording button" which I can never see.
I tried to modify the following parameter in
webapps/openmeetings/config.xml, but I see no difference while in the
conference room.

Is the only way to record

Hi Norbert,
*Worse is however, that any user can delete any recording.*
=> Well only if you do not place it in your private section.
There might be plans to extend that in the future but

group. Worse is however, that any user can delete any recording.
Would you consider to implement a dedicated group(organization) folder?
