Ah! Sorry, the inconsistency isn't between USB keyboard / laptop keyboard. The
difference in behaviour is with respect to on which Page U/D keys are pressed,

I have another suggestion then (hope you don't mind).
Mendeley does provide a web interface for it's service, as well as free hosting
space for the papers in each users collection. The non-free desktop

The package in openSUSE KDE UNSTABLE repository is
- okular-4.3.87svn1070744-2.3.i586.rpm
Is older than the one in Factory.
I can try it out once it shows there.
