Hi list,
as the subject says, I am trying to query the little brother database

Hi list,
please excuse me if this is slightly offtopic, nevertheless this seems a
propoer community to ask.
Does anyone know if/how I can export an abook data file to a format that
can be merged with lbdb's m_inmail.list file?

That seems to be the problem. My Leopard system shows the relevant files

Hi,
maybe you've installed the wrong variant for some reason? I've
reinstalled lbdb via MacPorts 1.8.1 about a week ago (darwin_10 variant,
selected automatically) and have no problems.
BTW, the module is called m_osx_addressbook on my system. But that

I previously had this working but now, not so much. I have installed

Hello,

I have also succesfully setup lbdb on my computer to query the ldap server.
Only problem: How can I make lbdb use digest-md5? I do not want to sent

This is handled by the m_inmail script whenever you query your

invokes either munge or munge-keeporder. These last

Mutt gives me a list sorted alphanumerically by email-adresses (second
column in Mutt, first in ~/.lbdb/m_inmail.list). Can I change this

I just released a new version of the little brother's database with
the following changes:
* Add new module m_bbdb to access a (X)Emacs big brother database (bbdb)
from lbdb using (x)emacs as the backend. Thanks to Utz-Uwe Haus
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for providing this.
* s/

guarantees, that /bin/sh is a posix shell (Closes: #75475).

Hi, all.
Is it somehow possible to score addresses I use in lbdb?
Here is the problem I have. If I want to send a mail to somebody with
name "Sudhir", I just type "sudhir" at the To: prompt and hit ^T for
getting all possible completions. Invariably, I get a lot of
izations on m_addr_email to handle city name correct and to
junk entries without email address.
* Update lbdb.el to version 1.8:
- Fixes the problem with spaces in query strings (Closes: #74818).
- New commands lbdb-region and lbdb-maybe-region to query lbdb for the
content of the cur
ut of number of matching entries (count after munging
instead before).
* SORT_OUTPUT now can be "name" or "address" to sort output by mail
real names or addresses (still the default).
As usual, you'll find the program at http://www.spinnaker.de/lbdb/

* Correct exit value of lbdbq (trap command).
