Is there a way to interactively delete attachments to an arbitrary mutt mbox
folder?
In other words, is it possible to list my folders, sort them by size, and then
claw through the directory, deleting attachments that I no longer need.
I'd prefer to answer a prompt: (delete-attachment [yes]|no),
I'm running the following mutt:

I'm using Mutt 1.5.18 on FreeBSD 6.1 with ascii_chars=no.
When I enter a mailfolder that's set to thread emails, the tree that's
composed of ACS lines and arrows is not displayed correctly. A quick
shifts the display and properly renders the ACS characters.
Other than ascii_chars, is there any

I'm seing the same behavior here with mutt 1.5.18 on FreeBSD.

This may properly be a PGP (or GPG) question, but I thought I'd inquire
here for a mutt-based solution.
I want to auto-retrieve PGP public keys for only certain messages. I
don't want to fill my keyring with keys from mailing lists, for example,
but I do want to retrieve and verify keys from priv
Sometimes I need to save the HTML part of a multipart MIME QP-encoded
message. Decode-Copy saves the text/plain part of the email only. How
can I save the HTML part of the email in a decoded state?

There's actually a Debian package that does precisely that. It's called
muttprofile.

I'd like to make, but I'm not sure how to do it. Is there some way to
cause these macros to load the respective mboxes upon execution? As
they stand, I have to call up the mbox listing manually after sourcing
the macros.

I'm in one or the other of the "formats," but it doesn't seem to be

the spoolfile and mbox don't change. That is, when I type c in the

Thanks for any help.

My configure switches are --prefix=/usr/local --enable-imap --enable-pop
--with-ssl --with-sasl --enable-hcache --enable-smtp
Does anyone have experience with this error?
The build is on a new installation of Ubuntu 8.04; all the relevant
development libraries are installed, I believe.

Thanks, Kyle. I never would have realized this on my own. I really
appreciate the time you take to explain some of the finer points of
mutt usage on this forum.

the same. I don't understand
what's happening to the "-quiet" part of the switch in the error
message, or why Mutt isn't taking the whole string at a slurp. It
looks like abook is returning the error, not Mutt, but I could be
wrong.
I'm using Mutt 1.4.2.1i under FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE. Abook is the latest
I could find.
Thanks for any help.
