I've figured out how to convert Outlook mailboxes. There are filters within
Outlook to do this. They give the following choices for converted format:

Sam,
I use mutt at work to read mail from an IMAP store.
While I love mutts functionality, I must say that the its speed in
processing IMAP stores strikes me as slow. I think this is because
mutt doesn't seem to have any caching mechanism. As a result, each

Ahoy.
Typicall I use mutt in an IMAP setting and am just now using it at
home (they finally removed the chain and ball from my cubicle).
I'm using fetchmail to yank the mail and procmail to process it. That
part is going quite well. I see mail accretion in my defined folders.

I would like to apply colors to my mailboxen. Namely, when I change

Now i've set up colors all over the pager and all over the index

Now, thanks to Suresh I have a Mutt email reader up and running in a
basic configuration (one ISP and one e-mail address).
Unfortunately I'm receiving mail where accented characters so common in
Italian are substituted simply by '?'.
How can I fix it up?

After a couple of years of experience with Linux and use of X-Window
mail readers, I've now installed Mutt from Debian potato on my portable
PC together with exim as MTA.
I know that Mutt is perhaps the best mail-reader in the linux world but
find the intricacies of setting it up somewhat tiring (
Hello,
I apologize for posting this here, but it's about professional use
of email, so I thought that Mutt users would know the answer anyway
:-)). Please do point me to more appropriate forums, if you know them.

I love Mutt, but am forced to read email via WWW quite often. The

When using "/" to search through my aliases I've noticed that the search won't wrap

Erika,
Wouldn't that be a function of sendmail's mail queue? I know sendmail can be
configured to send mail when connected. The mail queue is pretty powerful, so your
solution might lie there.

I'm wondering if it's possible to setup an alias that delivers to multiple addresses?
Something like...
alias foo [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] (foo group)
Thanks.
Is it at all possible to resource my aliases file without restarting mutt? What info
I could find on aliases and sourcing the file doesn't mention this specifically.
Should I take it that the client must be restarted?

Hi all,
I sometimes need to preprocess a message I 'm about to reply
(eg. to reformat it so that long lines fit at a particular screen width)
After reading the manual and performing a search in 'comp.mail.mutt',
I am still puzzled, whether and how it could be done.
Any clues ?
