The "refresh and wait technique" didnt work.
Yes, I tried reset with
adb kill-server
adb start-server
The "Select device" dialog still saying "Android emulator not started".
Does anyone has a different suggestion or clue?

You will want to press the "refresh" button once and then wait 10/15 seconds
and hopefully it will show up then, if this doesn't work, then try pressing

this usually helps.
And yes check whether You can press on start button in MD iti is light
greyish so it confuses me too (sometimes)

Im new in Mono and Android. I've looked for this problem and the most near I
found talks about a Java bug and says to "reinstall" the SDK, witch I did
