I'll take the hit for that, I should have be

If, however, you'd prefer me to stay in the Curses::* sandbox, I will. In the

Greetings:
This is the weekly reminder requesting feedback on the proposed

functions are there simply because a) they're text manipulation functions, and
b) they affect the cursor position, which is, again, the main point of this
module in the first place.

That's a good idea, I'll do that. :-)

guys do for
CPAN is on your own time, so I don't expect immediate responses. I just don't
want to move forward for many *months* like I did on Parse::PlainConfig just
to find that you had more input on it. I was concerned that Class::EHierarchy
would end up the same way.

So, what am I doing wrong? Can I get modules registered, or am I just
supposed to go away? I apologise if any of you feel that I'm being a pain in
the ass. Either tell me to go away (which I will comply with), or give me a
procedure that will work.

Deal. I think you've got the right suggestion with Class::EHierarchy.

Well, that's part of my problem. It's a hybrid module in the sense that it
combines a couple of concepts, from containers to accessors, to events. It's
certainly not as discrete as many of the existing modules. A more descriptive
(and yet short) name I can't r
in the object's
DESTROY handler. It gets more complicated when you want a referential trail
to follow that can be tracked both ways, from parent to child and child to
parent (think grand* both ways as well).

dious to reproduce from the
existing modules, and hence, could be made available as a CPAN module.
If you guys don't think I'm barking up the wrong tree, I would suggest that a
better name would be Class::Hybrid or Class::Generic. I would be happy to
hear any suggestions you have as well.

I'll resubmit (once more) for consideration, if I think it does fill a new
niche on CPAN.

have made the lack of consensus a tad more obvious.
So, is there a potential security problem here?

I'm not going to keep arguing my case. If this is your show and I have no say

short, I think you would do well to note that dumping it from CPAN would be
a disservice to those already using it, and expecting it to be there. I would
also be somewhat disheartened to have this list go back on a decision that

Out of curiousity, I already registered both missing modules via the
modules mailing list. Are you saying that the only way they ever show up is
via the PAUSE interface? Keep in mind that I didn't register either of the
Curses modules that way, and yet they made it in someh
