I use dvd::rip and mpeg2enc for creating svcds. The problem is, it's
very slow, only about 4 fps, though I have P4 1.8Ghz and 512Mb of Ram. I
cannot image, that's normal, because I heard that something around
double realtime should be possible.

I'm having problems with a .mpg play back with the RealOne player.
The clip is 47 seconds long, and RealOne is only playing the first 30
seconds. When RealOne starts up, the info window indicates the clip
