[Mjpeg-users] Speed Problems

Hi!

I use dvd::rip and mpeg2enc for creating svcds. The problem is, it's very slow, only about 4 fps, though I have P4 1.8Ghz and 512Mb of Ram. I cannot image, that's normal, because I heard that something around double realtime should be possible.

I'm not a member od this mailing-list, so it would be nice, if you reply direct.
