No it doesn't. The default for vcd/svcd presets is equivalent to -S

As Bernhard wrote 650 MB CDs (ie 74 mins CDs) can take upto about 730 MB
of data when burned as a vcd/svcd (MODE2_FORM2 sectors).

If you want to create real SVCD/VCD for playback in a HW-Player (like
DVD player) the presets are fine. You can fit more then 700MB on a 650MB
(=74 Minutes) disk.

I guess you used for encoding something like that: mpeg2enc -

so i use this command :
mplex -f 4 -V -s 2324 -p 1 -S 630 -o "/windows/D/video %d .mpg"
"/windows/D/island.m2v" "/windows/D/island.mp2"
but i alsways end with 3 files .
a. 645mb
b.81 mb
c.545 mb
and i only want 2
