That's odd. Look at the dmesg output, does the card give errors? Is it
being opened at all?

My question is in regards to Audio/Video sync when mplex'ing MPEG2 video
with AC3 (or MP2) audio.
The video is ripped from DVD and sometimes re-encoded with TMPGenc on a
windoze machine. I'm using the "-f 8" mplex profile, which works
flawlessly with dvdauthor.
